Valley Veterinary Service is proud to honor Sadie as our Pet of the Month for April! Sadie is one of our favorite geriatric patients. She is a long haired Chihuahua with a sweet disposition. When Sadie began coughing and struggling to breathe, her owner brought her in to Valley Veterinary Service.Through x-rays and ECG, Sadie was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and Collapsing Trachea in February 2008. Her owner gives her four different medications and a special low salt diet. Because of her owner's attentiveness, Sadie was just in to see us for her quarterly cardiac patient exam---three years later! Sadie gives lots of love in return!
